District Department Reports Presented At District Conference
Foreign Missions Report
May 7, 2010
Dear Brethren,
Greetings in the precious name of Jesus! Jesus said " ...Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." The goal of the United Pentecostal Church is to send a missionary to every country.
I believe Faith Promise is the key to helping every church get involved and increase our giving. Faith Promise is primarily a concept or plan to bring funds into the church to meet the needs of missions. Many church programs provide monies directly to a particular division and its promotion, such as Sheaves for Christ and Save Our Children. Faith Promise, on the other hand, seeks God's blessings on the funds, which come through the local church for distribution by the church and pastor to meet their own church obligations and support of missions at home and abroad.
Thank you for taking my calls and for your continued sacrifice for Foreign Missions. Paul encouraged us to not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap. When you provide an offering, hotel, meals or PIM support you are investing in souls for eternity.
Yours for souls,
R. J. Garner

Home Missions Report
May 7th, 2010
Dear Colorado pastors and ministers,
The Colorado Home Missions Department is focused on supporting each churches effort to evangelize our state with the message of salvation. We plan our year with the intent of offering the district assistance in touching the lives of the unchurched in every community. Colorado is made up of 64 counties consisting of over 4 and half million people. The opportunities are there and the task of reaching everyone in our state is overwhelming. Christmas for Christ is the sponsored fund raising effort that financially enables us to provide help to our home missionaries as they establish works across the Colorado district. Our 2009 Colorado CFC campaign provided over $20,000 towards the local and national effort of establishing churches North America. I would like to personally thank the Colorado District pastors for your generous support in giving to Christmas for Christ. We were blessed this past year to have our General Home Missions Director, Bro. Carlton Coon in Colorado for our CFC rallies. Bro. Coon's burden for Home Missions and the missionary family was obvious as he shared with us his vision for North America. Our Home Missions retreat in April was a powerful time of ministry as Brother's James Littles and Robbie Mitchell brought a very timely word to those of us who were in attendance.
Let's continue to pray that God would speak to many more to join us in the task of reaching all of Colorado with the gospel. There are many communities in our district that are in need of a church to bring the hope of salvation to them. As you continue to support our home missionaries in giving to CFC, please remember to pray for them as well. It is more challenging than ever before for the home missionary family to remain in their field of labor and overcome the many obstacles they face in building a church.
Thank you for allowing me the awesome opportunity to serve the Colorado District as your Home Missions director. My hope is that we can continue to grow until we have faithfully fulfilled our commission in spreading the gospel to everyone in all 64 counties of Colorado.
For Him,
Bro. Derwood Tate

Greetings in the precious name of the Lord!
I first want to thank Jon Moran for all that he has done. I know he is not here but, he was a big part of bringing the Colorado District Youth to a new level. I want to thank the youth board for all their hard work in making a difference in the lives of young people.
Last year was the toughest and most challenging year of our lives. We would like to thank you all for your prayers and support during the difficult time that we experienced. We have learned when there is opposition that there is going to be victory! Throughout last year we had the privilege to see God move mightily in the lives of young people.
We started last year with "youth fun night" at family camp. We have over a 150 young people as we tried our hand at roller skating. A few weeks after family camp our youth retreat kicked off with almost 100 kids registered and 200 attending the night services. We heard some of the most anointed preaching by Rev. Jason Aguliar. As he began to preach and move into the gifts of the spirit you could begin to see God changing the lives of young people.
After youth camp we finished up our Sheaves for Christ campaign. Understanding that the economy has affected every family, pastor, and local church our SFC offering was down almost $10,000.00 in comparison
to 2008. Even with this down economy the youth board and I believe that SFC is still worth giving to. We are believing for a great year in 2010 for our offering for SFC. Our goal offering for 2010 is $25,000.00. We believe the Colorado District can meet this goal with 100% cooperation.
Finally, we closed 2009 with youth convention that will forever be remembered as Rev. Simeon Costa challenged the kids to REVOLUTIONIZE their world!
I want to personally thank every pastor and minister in this wonderful District for joining the vision that this youth department has. I would like to thank you in advance for your support of the youth department as we continue to reach for the young people of Colorado.
Thank you for all of your support!
Youth for the kingdom,

Sunday School Report
Greetings in the Name of Jesus:
To the Colorado Ministers in session at the 2010 District Conference
The Colorado District Sunday School Department is very close to being out of debt. For the last three years our department has operated within its budget finishing each year with more than we spent. The funds owed to the general fund should be paid off already if not before the close of this year.
I am pleased to announce, Bro. Stephen Sutter and Sis. Stephanie Samora as the new Singles Ministry directors.
Last year's Save Our Children Offering was again successful. The district had over a 40.88% increase in offerings from you and the churches of Colorado. Thank you for giving to help us in Sunday School.
Jr. Camp was awesome. A lot of children received the Holy Ghost and many more were blessed of the Lord. Bro. Jeremy Joyce ministered to the children while the Henry's and some of the children ministered with music. There was a mighty presence of God surrounding the place and each person. From Thursday till Saturday morning the campers had a blast. Br Turpin helped me with a skit and in the setting up of the sound system. I thank all those ministers that promoted Sunday School to your churches.
I would like to thank the Sunday School Board for its help in making Sunday School a great success in reaching children. I believe as I always have that we should give the most to those whom we say we love the most. That is why SOC is the place I give my best. Children are not only the church of tomorrow, but they are also the church of today.
I have been the Sunday School Director now for about 6 years. I have greatly enjoyed this blessing. Working with children has always been my burden. You fellow ministers have made it possible for me to fulfill my burden every day. I am humbled by your confidence in me and I look forward to many more years in your service as the CO District Sunday School Dir.
Respectfully Submitted
This May 2010 District Conference.

Ladies Ministry Report
May 7, 2010
To the Colorado District Conference in Session,
Greetings to each of you.
It is an honor to serve the Ladies Ministries of the United Pentecostal Church representing the Colorado District. Ladies Ministries allocates monies to many great causes across North America and around the world. Churches in Colorado sponsored 37 foreign Bible College students.
Fifty percent of the monies given through Mother's Memorial stays in the district to fund Ladies Conference expenses, hospitality baskets for district events, floral arrangements and compassion service funds to ministers during illness. Thank you for giving to Mother's Memorial once again.
Our 2009 Ladies Conference was a great success! Last year's conference was held in August at the Pueblo Convention Center. Special speakers included Sis. Cindy Miller, professor at Urshan Graduate School of Theology (St. Louis, Missouri), Sis. Debbie Velie, representative of New Beginnings Adoption Agency and Crisis Pregnancy Intervention (Tupelo, Mississippi), Crissy Horn, birth mom at New Beginnings, Kaye Singleton, District Superintendent's wife of South Carolina, Darlene Boyte, Music Director for the Wisconsin District, and Minerva Guerrera, Spanish ladies speaker (Detroit, Michigan). The conference was anointed from the opening service Thursday evening. Friday morning we hosted a Cancer Survivor Forum. The convention center was a very reasonable price and we were able to stay very close to budget.
We asked each ladies director to schedule a ladies service within their section, as do most other departments of our district (i.e., Sunday School's CPR rallies, etc.). I would like to thank Sis. Theresa Wasserburger and Sis. Angela Pollard for hosting a Sectional Ladies' event last November at Bread of Life in Denver. The ladies of Sections 2 and 3 were blessed by the ministry of Sis. Esther Romero, National Spanish Ladies Ministries Director.
It has been my privilege to serve the churches of the Colorado District.
Respectfully submitted,
Debra Cantu
Ladies Ministries President
Men's Ministry Report
Dear Brethren,
Greetings in the name that is above every name. It is with great pleasure that I report on the 2009 Men's Conference held in Estes Park. No doubt you remember the awesome time we had with Rev. Jerry Jones, Rev. Brian Kinsey, Rev. Erin Bryant, and Bro. Kelsey Harrel. The powerful anointed preaching, in both the English and Spanish services, was indeed life changing. From the first song of the first service, to the final altar call, the powerful anointed presence of the Holy Ghost reverberated throughout.
Only eternity will be able to tell the impact these services have had on the men of the Colorado District. If you haven't had the pleasure of attending one of these winter conferences you are missing out on wonderful life impacting preaching, teaching, and worship. In the dead of winter we have found a spark of the Holy Ghost that has inspired and revived us to once again answer the call to prayer, praise, and evangelism.
Thanks for supporting your Colorado Men's Department.
We look forward to seeing you next February, as we once again make our way to the Rocky Mountains, for a fresh touch of the Holy Ghost.
Sincerely yours for the cause of Christ,
Rev. T.L. Plummer
Director
